As past President and CEO of Resource Development Associates, Patricia Bennett championed the use of evidence-based practices and data-driven planning and decision making to understand, evaluate, and improve systems that serve vulnerable populations — a value that remains with RDA to this day.
Throughout her tenure at RDA, Patricia supported several innovative efforts across a wide range of human service domains, including projects centered on organizational development, strategic planning, research, and evaluation.
Patricia Bennett launched numerous efforts to improve systems and practices in government and nonprofit organizations including utilizing and sharing data, leadership development, organizational change management, revenue enhancement, and consumer-driven planning processes. Stemming from her days as a lobbyist for the Quaker-sponsored Friends Committee on Legislation, Patricia maintains a passion for justice reform, behavioral health issues, and supports for foster care youth.
She led an effort that established the first program of its kind for incarcerated pregnant teens and their infant children in the US. She also served as the Executive Director of several nonprofit organizations that provided behavioral health, case management, and homeless services.
Patricia is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and is a past President of Mental Health America of California. She is anShe serves as an advisor to RDA in her role as President Emeritus and Chair of RDA’s Trust Stewardship Committee.
