Strengths Resources

Strengths Resources is a collaborative project. So we’d love you to be involved! We’re looking for contributions from coaches to help build the collection of resources, under these main sections:

Why get involved? Every contribution will be credited. So by letting others in the coaching community know about your groups, products or services, you’ll not only be helping other coaches you will benefit from increased engagement, audience and connection for yourself.


Strengths Community

You may belong to several groups online or in person to talk about Strengths and coaching aspects. As a new coach, it can be quite difficult to find the best groups, and overwhelming to know which groups to join. So we’d like to help coaches, new and old, with this by providing a directory of Strengths groups. Each group will have its own page on the site with basic information and links to join, get in touch etc.

Do you manage a Strengths-based group that you would like us to feature on Strengths Resources?

If so, we’d love to hear from you. The best way to do this is to either contact us or better still, book a time in Richard’s calendar to have an initial conversation.

We are looking for groups or communities that are reasonably active with a wide variety of contributors and voices. Where the conversations are more of a discussion than the promotion of a single organization or person. Any products for sale using CliftonStrengths® are approved by Gallup.

Information to provide

To feature your group, we’d like you to provide as much of the following information as you can.

  • About the group:
    • Who is the group for and what does the group offer?
    • When did it start, how many members are there and is there any relevant history?
    • Approximate size of group?
    • Does the group cover a specific geographical area or is it purely online?
    • What is the main language used within the group?
  • Events:
    • Are there any events / activities, and where can people hear about forthcoming events.
    • Do you run any courses and is there a link where people can find out more?
  • Who is the main contact person for people to find out more:
    • Name & email address
  • Main Image for the group – size ideally 960x501px. We can include a few other images in the body of your page.
  • Links:
    • Facebook link to group
    • LinkedIn link to group
    • Other links?
  • Is there anything else about the group that would be helpful for a coach thinking of joining?
  • Finally, a short bio about yourself so coaches can get to know you.


Strengths Products

Are you a Gallup Licensed Partner for your book or merchandise? We want to hear from you to promote your products to the global coaching community. We can showcase your product(s) and provide a link to your website or shop. If you have an affiliate link with a small return, this will help us to cover the running costs for the Strengths Resources website.

Information to provide

To feature your product, we’d like you to provide as much of the following information as you can.

  • Type of product: book / mug / T shirt / badge / labels / poster / software application etc

    • What it is, and are there any variations – colors / size etc.
    • Is it a standard product or is it personalized with the names?
    • Are there any people who would appreciate this more than others?
    • Can you share a testimonial?
  • Description:
    • A paragraph or two describing the product or book. Please don’t copy the text from your website as this will affect the SEO for both your website and ours. Make the text unique.
  • Delivery regions:
    • Can the product be shipped worldwide or are there limitations?
    • Are there any options for customers outside of your region?
  • Who is the main contact person for people to find out more?
    • Name & email address
  • Main Image for the product – size ideally 960x501px. We can include a few other images in the body of your page.
  • Links:
    • Can you offer an affiliate link to the product on your website? Please contact us to cover your terms for the link.
    • Facebook link to the product.
    • Other links?
  • Is there anything else about the product that would be helpful us or coaches to know?
  • Finally, a short bio about yourself so coaches can get to know you.


Strengthening Your Coaching Business

Are you willing to share your experiences of setting up or supporting a coaching business?

As a new coach it can be difficult to get started with a business and know where to get help. Perhaps an established business needs a boost to reach the next level. We would love to hear from experienced coaches who can share their own personal journey of establishing, running and expanding a coaching business to inspire those starting out.

Contributors of featured articles will be able to share their profile about their business or coaching services. We will provide a link to their website or contact information for referrals.

Strengths Coaching

The Strengths Coaching section will cover many different coaching topics and suggest resources to help. There will be articles for specific areas such as non-profit, careers, education, students, families, faith, sport etc.
