Dr. Ariela Freedman is a certified CliftonStrengths coach with her businesses, MavenTree Consulting, based in Atlanta, Georgia, where she leads workshops on Strengths-based Leadership and Management. She also is a career transition coach with her online program, Compass Within.

Ariela has a PhD in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University and an MPH from the University of Minnesota. Many of her clients are public health professionals, ranging from nonprofits, state and local health departments, and CDC. She also has a Master of Arts in Teaching and began her career as a high school English, Drama, and Debate teacher in Chicago. With her combined expertise in curriculum design, program planning, evaluation, and entrepreneurship, Ariela also serves as a consultant for coaches looking to level up and improve their practice in ways that feel authentic to them.

Outside of work, Ariela is a visual artist and teaches art workshops in her home studio. She’s also a recording artist and sings with her trio, The Mamalehs, and is a proud alto in her synagogue chorus.

Dr. Ariela Freedman and Rabbi Joshua Lesser created the CliftonStrengths® Cards for Kids for use with the Strengths Explorer® assessment.
